Created to accompany an article exploring “What might happen in space” in the year of the first moon landings. The article included commentary by NASA scientist Werhner von Braun, chief architect of the Saturn V launch vehicle that propelled the Apollo spacecraft to the moon.
The original painting art board is approximately 54cm wide x 66cm tall. The artwork is float mounted on to conservation grade mountboard and presented in a white wooden box frame glazed with anti-reflective glass.
