Brian Sanders was commissioned by Stanley Kubrick to record the film being made and spent a year drawing and painting the making of this highly influential, ground breaking and extraordinary film in Stage H at Shepperton Studios, England. Kubrick loved Brian’s work and kept the original drawings and paintings.
The giclée prints were created from large format colour transparencies that were taken of the artworks in the early 1960s. The transparencies have been carefully scanned, restored and colour adjusted to match the original works.
