1970, Original artwork watercolour and pencil on board
Sanders was commissioned to produce a set of portraits for NOVA magazine that picked out personality foibles of the subjects. Laurence Harvey, star of stage and screen, was known for his charm, vanity and being ‘in love with his own image’. Sanders captures this perfectly with a light touch.
The original painting art board is approximately 42 cm wide x 46 cm tall. The artwork is float mounted on to conservation grade mountboard and presented in a white wooden box frame glazed with anti-reflective glass.
